Meet the Care support team at Elan Care

John Hill

Director

John’s experience in responsible healthcare investment, acquisitions and risk management covers a broad exposure in turnaround and troubleshooting of care assets and businesses.

More about John

His track record includes the facilitation and acquisition financing on more than 20 care homes, refinancing and portfolio efficiency operations. John also spent many years working in the Luxembourg fund management industry gaining exposure to a variety of investment and asset management strategies in healthcare.

Lisa Cartwright

Office Administrator

Lisa worked in administration roles for over 25 years for a variety of companies. She spent just under 15 years working for the Ministry of Defence in Gosport, Hampshire, providing Admin support to a Pay Replacement Project for the Army, Royal Navy & RAF, then moved into to a PA role for the Infrastructure Director who were responsible for the Army, Royal Navy & RAF Infrastructure departments across the 3 sites based in Winchester, Gosport & Gloucester.

More about Lisa

She moved abroad with the armed forces (her ex-husband served with the Royal Navy) to Gibraltar for 2 ½ years, she had her son & took some time out from employment. Lisa later moved back to Hartlepool at started work at Teesside University as a PA to the Deane of the School of Health & Social Care. She also set up & managed an office for a family member at Wynyard Business Park, Wynyard, Billingham for 3 years. Lisa has worked for 2 recruitment agencies & her last role being a Branch Administrator with Manners & Harrison Estate Agents (part of the Sequence Group).

Janet Lenehan

Senior Team Leader

Jan has over 25 years of experience in the care sector predominantly supporting people with learning disabilities. During this time, she has worked in residential care, home care and in supported living. Before joining Elan care, Jan had experience as a support worker, Senior support worker and acting manager and has built up excellent working relationships with social workers and families.

Jan has qualifications in Health and Social Care as well as a first line management qualification. Elan Care is currently supporting her to complete her Level 5 Management qualification.

Trina Robinson

Senior Support Worker

Trina has worked in the social care sector for over 26 years supporting young people and adults with a wide range of challenges and disabilities. Over the years she has developed a broad experience in specialist areas, such as: mental health learning, diabetes, drug abuse and alcoholism, domestic violence, challenging behaviour, Autism, ADHD and forensics.

More about Trina

During her career she has worked on many rewarding and exciting projects that has covered behavioural issues, alternative education to hands on personal 1:1 care delivery. Trina has won awards for her contribution to recovery work and claimed the title of recovery worker of the year in the North East for her efforts in teaching and supporting individuals with coping strategies to avoid relapse.
Trina now holds a Level 5 Management and Employment Law qualification and is looking forward to advancing her career experience with the support of Elan Care.
